Looking for fun team building activities? You’ve come to the right place.

Author Joline Godfrey said, “All work and no play doesn’t just make Jill and Jack dull, it kills the potential of discovery, mastery, and openness to change and flexibility and it hinders innovation and invention.”

Let’s make fun the focus of your corporate team bonding in Singapore!

Our signature cooking team bonding programme, “Let your hair down and have some fun,” blends fun and discovery in the kitchen while inculcating team work, creativity, planning, co-operation, leadership, and effective communication.

The programme has four themes that may cater to your team’s preferences: Eat, Bake, Dine or Drink. These corporate team bonding activities packed with fun ice breaker games are executed as a “challenge” with the final output judged by our chefs. You may also invite a representative from your company to be a judge.

Here’s how we push your team’s creativity through each fun cooking team bonding activity:

All challenges in the corporate team bonding activities are judged by our chefs. We welcome your company representatives to join our judging panel.

Bake

EAT

In this programme, teams are asked to cook a lip-smacking three-course meal that will impress the harshest critic. As they prepare the meals, they will also be asked to pick one learning objective among these three: 1. Planning and cooperation, 2. Teamwork and creativity, and 3. Teamwork, Leadership, and Cooperation. Each learning objective has a corresponding surprise challenge task. Within 10 to 20 minutes, the teams have to complete the exciting challenge that goes with the learning objective they chose.

Eat

BAKE

Make your corporate team bonding activity a sweet success. Similar to “Eat”, “Bake” challenges teams to bake delicious treats. Bake is one of the popular ways to facilitate corporate team bonding in Singapore – an absolute hit among weary workers who could use some sweet endings to their long and sometimes tough days at work!

DINE

Extending from “Eat”, the “Dine” challenge requires teams to assume chef, waiter and customer roles, simulate a restaurant kitchen and serve a plated 4course fine dining meal. Split into 4 teams, each team is focused on one part of the meal from cooking to presentation. The proof of excellence is in execution and achieving total customer satisfaction from the kitchen to the table. Dine encourages team members to put customers top of mind, and builds confidence in presentation, customer interface, and message delivery.

DRINK

This team building activity will enable team members to dazzle colleagues by mixing, muddling, and mashing through this cocktail masterclass, facilitated by Palate Team Building’s mixologist. Discover the art of wine and spirits tasting, and master the craft of mixing perfect cocktails with our wine expert and mixologist.

    TESTIMONIALS

My regional team came to Palate Sensations for a cooking team building activity in Singapore and it was a wonderful experience. The chefs were very professional and made the whole session fun for all of us. We have decided that when we are able to gather again, we will definitely be back for a baking team building session!

I can barely boil an egg so I was very skeptical when my team organised a team building cooking class in Singapore. I thought I was going to stand back and just drink the night away but the chefs were so friendly and made me feel at ease. They issued step by step instructions and were always on hand to help me if I had any questions or if they saw me feeling lost. Highly recommended if you are looking for culinary team building in Singapore.

My company organised a baking team building in Singapore when my boss visited us. Palate Sensations has a great CSR initiative which is in line with my company’s policy for team bonding in Singapore. We baked banana bread and 2 types of cookies for The Food Bank which were then distributed on our behalf to a children’s home. We all wrote messages to the kids and wished them well. It was a great way to spend an afternoon. Now I want to come back on my own time because they also teach bread making and I love bread.

Our team usually gather at least once a year for our regional meeting in Singapore but the past few years have been impossible for travel with COVID. My company which is based in Singapore, looked around for team building activities in Singapore and they organised a virtual team building class. The Singapore Team received an ingredient package but as I am based in Australia, I received the recipes and purchased my own ingredients. The class was held via zoom and it was really fun. We made Singapore otak otak and Hokkien noodles. The chef was very engaging and the whole process was really easy to follow. We all felt like we were cooking together even though we could only see each other on the screen. I cant wait to try their in studio cooking class team building in Singapore.

Enjoyed the team building cooking activities! The timing is good and I like that we were able to customized for the timing for the company. We also had a good time enjoying the food which was fresh and delicious. Palate sensations even assisted us to take photos during our cooking session and we enjoyed the mini challenge which was to create a logo related to the company! All of us had a lot of fun there! Thank you!
