Cooking Challenges as Corporate Team Building Activities in Singapore

Palate Team Building has so far created corporate team building activities in Singapore for at least 40,000 team members.

In this exciting segment, we offer 3 different programmes that take corporate bonding activities in Singapore to the next level.

Our challenge-focused corporate cooking team building activities are aimed at harnessing leadership, coordination via coherent strategy and execution, time management, creativity, taste, presentation, a keen sense of setting target markets, and whether the price point of a finished product matches the outcome.

Each cooking team building program lasts about 3 hours to 4 hours depending on which programme you select.

All challenges are judged by our chefs. We welcome your company representatives to join our judging panel.

Mystery Box Challenge

This 3 hour-event will see teams pitted against each other to prepare a menu using various cooking methods and present their dishes with a 1-minute commercial. They will be given “money” to purchase ingredients from our in-house supermarket spread. Shop wisely!

Points will be rewarded based on whether they used their money wisely and the quality and suitability of their dishes for the chosen theme.

As a reward, our chefs will be serving the participants a scrumptious 3-course meal.

Who will end up being crowned the “Best Team”?

Delivery Service

This 2-hour event will see teams pitted against each other to design and deliver either a pizza, pasta, nasi lemak or sushi to the target market at the right price point. They will deliver a 1-minute commercial to market their dish.

Points will be rewarded based on whether the dish is suitable for the target market; the design of the logo and the decoration of the takeaway container.

As a reward, the teams will make enough to eat their finished product!

    My company organised a baking team building in Singapore when my boss visited us. Palate Sensations has a great CSR initiative which is in line with my company’s policy for team bonding in Singapore. We baked banana bread and 2 types of cookies for The Food Bank which were then distributed on our behalf to a children’s home. We all wrote messages to the kids and wished them well.     Our team usually gather at least once a year for our regional meeting in Singapore but the past few years have been impossible for travel with COVID. My company which is based in Singapore, looked around for team building activities in Singapore and they organised a virtual team building class. The Singapore Team received an ingredient package but as I am based in Australia, I received the recipes and purchased my own ingredients. The class was held via zoom and it was really fun. We made Singapore otak otak and Hokkien noodles. The chef was very engaging and the whole process was really easy to follow.
